Everything you might want to know before bringing a painting home

Are your paintings truly one of a kind?

Yes. Every painting is an original, hand-made piece — no prints, no reproductions. Once a work is sold, it exists in exactly one home in the world. Each work is signed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

What is mixed media painting?

Mixed media painting combines multiple materials and techniques in a single work — acrylic, oil, ink, gold leaf, collage, spray paint, and more. The result is a richly layered surface with texture and depth that changes depending on the light and how close you look.

How do I choose the right painting for my home?

Start with what you feel, not what matches your sofa. Browse the collection and notice which pieces you keep returning to. If you are unsure about size or colour for a specific space, write to me — I am always happy to help.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Shipping is free across Spain and Europe. For destinations outside Europe, please contact me before purchasing so we can find the best option for you.

How is the painting packaged for shipping?

Every painting is carefully wrapped and packed to withstand transit. Canvas works are protected with foam corners and a rigid outer box. Paper works are layered with acid-free tissue. If you receive a damaged package, photograph it immediately and contact me within 48 hours.

Can I return a painting?

Yes. You have 14 days from receiving the work to request a return. Just write to me at mireiafabrega.art@gmail.com and we'll sort it out. Please see my full Returns & Refunds policy for details.

Do you take commissions?

Yes. A commission begins with a conversation — you share your space, your intention, the feeling you want to live with. I listen, and then I paint. Write to me at mireiafabrega.art@gmail.com to start.

How do I care for an original mixed media painting?

Keep the work away from direct sunlight and high humidity. For dust, a soft dry brush is all you need. Canvas works are varnished for protection. Paper works should be framed behind UV-protective glass for best longevity.
